Events and Meetings

Welcome back to in-person gatherings of CAAIP! Mask wearing is optional and face masks are available if needed. Be sure to go to the sign-in table and wear a name tag upon entering.

Monthly meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month (January through June, and September through November) at 10:00am at:

Gary and Janice will share their experiences at the Library of Congress, its history and its significance in our country's history.

"Regional Extreme Weather: Water, Heat, Fire"
Mark Wysocki, NYS Climatologist (retired), Senior Lecturer in Meteorology (Emeritus)
Mark has many years experience studying our weather. He will examine the effects of climate change on the frequency of floods, heat waves, and wildfires throughout the Northeast with a specific focus on the central NY region.
